MORE THAN A FEELING: EVS

I have started my EVS experience on 18 of february 2010 cause that day I came to Slovenia and the process of EVS started and continued on until 16 of february 2011…
I actually would like to mention about how is the life after EVS…cause the life after EVS is really different what I felt during in last one year…
Firstly until last week actually I was still not in the mood of leaving cause I kept myself busy but of course how come I could have a chance to survive from this leaving mood...
The last week appeared and I found myself in a really strange mood which is really hard to explain even…
I was happy cause I had a wonderful EVS experience about projects which I have done and also I found myself in this last one year I realized my potential like everyone can find himself or herself…
I was unhappy cause I clearly knew that I liked to be an EVS volunteer cause 1 year was a long time…Actually I liked the lifestyle of EVS…I was also unhappy cause I was in a process of leaving from my friends whom I have had during in 1 year…for that reason I have started to call people whom I really would like to say goodbye…firstly have met with our dear Turkish courses participant Viktorija Majger and her valuable friend Natalija Žlavs…Viktorija even wrote me a letter in English also in Turkish…I really appreciated a lot…after this meeting I was so glad that to come to Slovenia as EVS volunteer at least for that reason cause as far as I see; I and the other Turkish volunteers have done something for Viktorija about Turkish…and she will probably able to talk with us in Turkish so near future…what a great pleasure this is…

After that I have met with a special person for me cause even before my arrival I had started to connect with her about Slovenske Konjice also about Slovenia…This is Tjaša Kangler (The head of Tourism Info Center Slovenske Konjice) she has supported and co-operated with me also for my main project (youth newspaper) and gave an interview to us for my self-initiative project (EVS Volunteer Speaks)…and talked about “Žička kartuzija Monastery” in this video…I am really glad that to know her…

And I have met with the Mayor of Slovenske Konjice Mr. Miran Gorinšek…He started to talk and take care of us (I mean EVS volunteers) even from the first time and he is the person who invited us and supplied our videos’s Slovenske Konjice parts…We had an interview with him also about Slovenske Konjice town and its legend…Besides, he was always (actually still) ready to listen us and co-operate with me…I am also glad that to know him…
And of course my dear mentor how come I can forget to mention also about her…Ana Gorinšek…She maybe couldn’t see me so much cause she was living in Ljubljana but she always tried to help me about my main project also my self-initiative project…I am probably so lucky to have a mentor like her…

I have also met with our ex-co worker Maja Kvas Gorjanc…have already gotten a promise for visiting me in Turkey from her also...

And with my dear ex-coordinator; my adoptive big sister Alma Udvinčič…I am so glad that to know her; to meet with her…I gained an adoptive big sister as I mentioned above…I am really lucky especially about my dear ex-coordinator…
